BALLANTYNE STRONG TO REPORT Q3 2011 RESULTS THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 3RD AND HOST CONFERENCE CALL/WEBCAST AT 10:00 AM ET

OMAHA, Nebraska (October 24, 2011) Ballantyne Strong, Inc. (NYSE Amex: BTN), a provider of digital cinema projection equipment and services, cinema screens and other cinema products, will host a conference call and simultaneous webcast to review its 2011 third quarter financial results on Thursday, November 3rd at 10:00 AM ET.  Ballantyne will release its Q3 results pre-market.  Both the call and webcast are open to the general public.
